Hi There Tarot Friends,

Looking for Beta Readers

The moment has arrived. Tarot in the Moment, my flagship book on learning Tarot is finished!

If you would like to provide feedback in exchange for a free copy of the book, click here.

Julia and Angela, I've got you down already. πŸ˜‰

The book is approximately 160 pages and is in e-book format at the moment.

You don't need to read the whole book cover to cover. I'll have some questions prepared for you to help guide you. It will be absolutely okay to skim some parts of the book.

If this sounds like something you want to do, click here to be added to the beta-tester list.

Wands, Wands everywhere

On March 19th, the Sun slides into the zodiac sign of Aries, marking the Spring Equinox.

Let's unpack this a little bit.

Since the Winter Solstice (when the sun enters Capricorn), the amount of daylight compared to night has been growing.

Spring Equinox is day that the Sun enters Aries. This is the time of equal day and night, when the daylight is still growing, and the sun is still climbing higher in the sky (Northern Hemisphere).

The Summer Solstice (when the Sun enters Cancer) is when the total amount of daylight peaks, and then begins to subside.

Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and a fire sign. Now you know why Aries starts almost every monthly horoscope forecast. πŸ™„

In Tarot, the suit of wands = the element of fire.

So we could say that every wands card has some affinity with every fire sign of the zodiac (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius).

The wands cards of Tarot are often depicted as tree branches sprouting with new leaves. Or sometimes they are torches of burning wood. Or in the case of the Ace of Wands in this article, both leaves and fire!

Christ is resurrected on the first full moon following the Equinox.

Life has returned! Spring has sprung!

New life is beginning.

It seems quite appropriate to me, then, that the Ace of Wands would symbolize this starting point of Spring.

Questions to ask yourself this Ace of Wands week:

  1. Where do you feel the sap rising in your life? Where or how are you feeling the push of new growth?
  2. What have you been putting off, maybe waiting for the right time? What if you just did it?
  3. Go through the wands cards and pick one or two that you feel can give you fiery inspiration and the get up and go to move into action. Write about the card(s) in your journal.
