It's Eclipse Season 🌚

It's here, it's eclipse season!

Monday was the lunar eclipse in Libra.

April 8 is the solar eclipse in Aries, for which the shadow will pass right over me here in San Antonio!

I experienced the eclipse last October and that was gob-smacking. This one in April should be even more intense than the previous October eclipse. Lordy, lordy!

I pulled 2 cards for these 2 eclipses asking what we can expect from each eclipse.

Card Pull for the Eclipses

The Lunar eclipse shows up as the 4 of pentacles.

The 4 of pentacles implies some stability during a time that is notoriously unstable, an eclipse.

Perhaps this is because Venus is close to Saturn in Pisces.

I think we can take this as a message to conserve resources and prepare for the next eclipse and beyond.

The Solar eclipse shows up as the 7 of cups.

The ground is soft and moving with the 7 of cups. We see birds wading in the water.

We could get swept away with emotions during this time.

At the time of the solar eclipse, Mercury is retrograde. Things may not be as they appear or you think they are. With Mercury in Aries there may be some shouting of, "It's my way or the highway!"

The Jupiter Uranus wildcard is about to perfect. 🤞Some crazy-ass breakthroughs may land in your lap!

Mars and Saturn are about to meet up in Pisces.

Mars and Saturn provide grit and determination. They can also be uncaring and ruthless. Keep fighting the good fight.

This all looks a little good vs. evil, but I don't want to make this into a black and white statement.

And if you watch the news at all, you know there's a lot of buzz around good vs. evil these days.

The 7 of cups often shows up when there's confusion or overwhelm, and pressure to make a choice. Often when I see this card, I say all things being equal, pick one.

In this case, I think the April eclipse will pick one for us. Our job is to not get pulled into the fray.

Hopefully the Lunar eclipse highlighted something, or more likely someone, you can depend on. Now is the time to lean on them.
